Dr. V.K. Mishra, Director of ICAR (RC) for NEH Region, Umiam, unfurled the Tricolor at 8:45 AM on the January 26th. Addressing the gathering, he expressed the republic day that we are celebrating today is a result of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and their dedication towards the country. As the nation marks its Amrit Kal, we are also celebrating the golden jubilee of this Institute. Dr. Mishra urged all employees and officers to dedicate themselves fully to the service of the institute, which would make the celebrations meaningful. He extended his congratulations to Dr. Sandip Ghatak and his team for the recently won national award. Dr. Mishra emphasized that this year, we are privileged to have the students of IARI Hub with us, foreseeing a brighter future for them. He expressed optimism about nurturing future scientists from this group. The programme ended with distribution of sweet boxes to the gathering.
